Appointment of Non-Executive Chairman

Jelf is pleased to announce the appointment of Les Owen, as a Non-Executive Chairman. Les Owen has almost 40 years' experience in the financial services sector.  He spent the bulk of his career at Sun Life and in the AXA Group where, prior to his retirement, he was Group Chief Executive Officer at AXA Asia Pacific Holdings.  Prior to that he was Chief Executive of AXA Sun Life. The appointment is subject to FSA approval.

Commenting on the appointment, Alex Alway, Group Chief Executive, said: "I am delighted to welcome Les to the Board.  Les is a well known and highly respected industry figure and will bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the Board which will be valuable as we continue our growth strategy".

This appointment coincides with the retirement of the out-going chairman, David Walker. Commenting on David's retirement, Alex Alway, Group Chief Executive, stated: "David's guidance and advice has been invaluable to the Group as it has developed. On behalf of the Group, we would like to put on record our thanks for this important contribution to our growth".

Save as disclosed below there are no additional disclosures to be made in accordance with paragraph (g) of Schedule 2 of the AIM rules for Les Owen.
